GEORGIA DONE
Investigative Journalist & Features Producer

Georgia Done is a Walkley nominated investigative journalist who has experience in producing, reporting and camera work. Her investigations delve into a variety of pressing issues, such as social justice, housing and homelessness, corporate wrongdoing, crime and corruption, sexual abuse, and the intricacies of the criminal justice system.

Georgia most recently worked for Scotland Tonight, the only program in Scotland that outputs weekly feature stories, as the show's long-form producer. While living in Glasgow she was nominated for two Refugee Awards and travelled to Türkiye to produce a documentary on the dangers of cosmetic surgery. Before this, she worked for Paramount and Network Ten’s The Project, which saw her travel across Australia to cover everything from natural disasters to exclusive interviews with public figures. Her work there earned her Walkley and Quills nominations. Prior to her time at Ten, Georgia honed her skills as a producer and reporter for 7 News Australia in Queensland.

Georgia is now based in Australia.

“Georgia is one of my most talented staff members. She is reliable, thorough and diligent, with a passion for the art of storytelling that is second to none. Georgia gives her all to every story she works on. She hunts down excellent leads and produces brilliant original ideas. Her impressive track record will be difficult to replicate, though our loss will be a huge gain to whoever is lucky enough to hire her next.”
